Alanis Morissette is once again touring this year. The  7 time Grammy winner announced the North American and European dates for her Jagged Little Pill anniversary tour on March 8. The new dates continue the celebration for the 25th anniversary of her greatest album. Her 1995 hit Jagged Little Pill killed charts for the now 47-year-old to rock and established her icon status. The album topped No. 1 for 12 weeks on the Billboard 20

At age 21, she became the youngest artist at the time to take home album of the year at the Grammys in 1996.  Having that kind of  success is definitely something to celebrate — and that’s what Alanis Morissette plans to do kicking the tour off June 9 in Copenhagen. She’ll be accompanied by Beth Orton, they will spend the month venues in the U.K., Netherlands, France, Ireland and Germany.

On the North American leg of the tour,  fellow rockers Garbage will then jump in as special guests on the tour  with stops in Canada before making her way across the United States. Garbage also joined the Morissette on last year’s tour rounds, which ended it’s US tour with two nights at the Hollywood Bowl.

Definitely expect her to perform the Jagged Little Pill hits such as “Hand in My Pocket” and “You Oughta Know” both which made her an unforgettable name, espect there to be at least a few new pieces of music to sing along to. The tour comes just prior to her new song “Olive Branch”
